John Frusciante: I really love being myself, I wouldn’t change places with anybody. I think anything that anybody wants to change about themselves, they should take a closer look, because it could just be a matter of looking at that flaw in a different way, rather than removing it.

ATAXIA
FACT: In 2004, John Frusciante, Joe Lally (Fugazi), and Josh Klinghoffer (Bicycle Thief) formed the group Ataxia. As Ataxia, the power trio recorded two albums worth of material in two weeks — forming Automatic Writing (2004) an AW II (2007).
The band played two shows in two days at the Knitting Factory, LA, in February of 2004. Following this, the group disbanded.
